Each day is tailored to the individual’s needs, emphasizing independence while offering choices and help where necessary.

This may include helping someone learn to use public transportation, manage their finances, communicate effectively, or navigate community spaces confidently. Training and Expertise
Radiance Community Care ensures that all Sponsor/DSPs are extensively trained not only in caregiving or medication management but also in safety, health, and emergency preparedness. CPR, First Aid, and specialized training for intellectual and developmental disabilities are just the beginning. Continuous professional development keeps our team updated on best practices, ensuring the highest standard of care at all times. However, technical skills alone do not define a great sponsor or DSP. Compassion, patience, and empathy are just as important. At Radiance, we carefully select team members who embody these qualities because genuine care cannot be taught; it must come from the heart.
